This Privacy Policy describes how Big Vision Systems LLC ("Company", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use TaxAppealKit.com ("Site", "Service").

- Property information: Street address, city, state, ZIP code, assessed value, square footage, property type, and property condition details
- Filing information: Parcel number and appeal deadline (optional)
- Free-form descriptions: Text you enter describing your property's condition or issues
- Payment information: Payment details are collected and processed directly by our third-party payment processor (Stripe). We do not receive, store, or have access to your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment credentials
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect:
- Device and browser information: Browser type, operating system, device type, screen resolution
- Usage data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, clicks, scrolls, features used
- Network information: IP address, approximate geographic location (city/region level)
- Referral data: The website or source that directed you to the Site
1.3 Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for functionality (such as saving your session progress) and analytics. We may use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics or similar) that use cookies to help us understand how users interact with the Site.

- Process payments: Complete your purchase transactions through our payment processor

- Comply with legal obligations: Fulfill legal requirements, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights
3. How We Share Your Information

- Third-party service providers: Including payment processors (Stripe), property data providers (RentCast), AI service providers (for generating Reports), hosting providers, and analytics services. These providers only receive the data necessary to perform their services and are obligated to protect it
- AI service providers: Property information and condition details you provide are sent to AI services (such as Anthropic's Claude API) for analysis and content generation. This data is used solely to generate your Report and is subject to the AI provider's data handling policies
- Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of our users or the public
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction
What We Do NOT Do
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties
- We do not use your property information for purposes other than providing the Service
- We do not send marketing emails (we do not collect email addresses as part of normal use)
4. Data Retention
Session data: Property information entered during a session is stored locally in your browser (via localStorage) for your convenience so you can return to your results. This data is not transmitted to our servers for storage beyond what is needed to process your request in real time.
Server-side: We do not maintain a database of user property information. Property data is processed in real time to generate your analysis and Report, and is not permanently stored on our servers after your request is complete. Server logs containing IP addresses and request metadata may be retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes.
Payment records: Transaction records are maintained by our payment processor (Stripe) according to their retention policies and as required for tax and accounting compliance.
5. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS encryption for data in transit. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
6. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Delete your personal information
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your data
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Opt out of analytics cookies through your browser settings or applicable cookie management tools

We do not sell personal information.

8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. 9. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States and is intended for users in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
10. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) setting. There is currently no industry standard for how companies should respond to DNT signals. We do not currently respond to DNT signals, but you can manage cookies and tracking through your browser settings.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites (such as county assessor offices or Google search results). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
